Plains All American Pipeline Appoints Daniel J. Nerbonne Vice President of Engineering
(HOUSTON – March 8, 2005) Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. (NYSE: PAA) announced today that its board of directors has appointed Daniel J. Nerbonne to the position of Vice President–Engineering effective February 17, 2005.
"The significant increase in the Partnership's size and scale over the last few years has brought with it a large number of internal projects and organic growth opportunities," said Harry N. Pefanis, President and Chief Operating Officer of Plains All American. "The addition of Dan Nerbonne, a well respected veteran of the pipeline industry, expands our internal capabilities in the areas of project development and management. We believe that Dan will be a significant contributor to our future success in these areas."
Mr. Nerbonne has 25 years of experience in the pipeline industry. Prior to joining Plains All American, he was General Manager of Portfolio Projects for Shell Oil Products US since January 2004. From 1998 to January 2004, Mr. Nerbonne served in various capacities, including General Manager of Commercial and Joint Interest, with Shell Pipeline Company or its predecessors. Prior to joining Shell, Mr. Nerbonne spent 18 years with Texaco Trading and Transportation and its affiliates, where he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, operations and business development, including Vice President of Business Development. In his role at Plains All American, Mr. Nerbonne is responsible for the Partnership's project implementation activities and has oversight of the Partnership's maintenance activities, including its API 653 storage tank program and pipeline integrity management program. Mr. Nerbonne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. is engaged in interstate and intrastate crude oil transportation, and crude oil gathering, marketing, terminalling and storage, as well as the marketing and storage of liquefied petroleum gas and other petroleum products, primarily in Texas, California, Oklahoma, Louisiana and the Canadian Provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. The Partnership's common units are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "PAA." The Partnership is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
