Plains All American Announces Officer Appointments
(Houston January 12, 2007) Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. (NYSE: PAA) announced today the following officer appointments: Roger D. Everett, Vice President Human Resources; Mark J. Gorman, Vice President; John R. Keffer, Vice President Terminals and David E. Wright, Vice President.
"Our business and asset base has grown significantly over the last several years and it is important to selectively expand our officer ranks to keep pace with and manage that growth," said Greg L. Armstrong, Chairman and CEO of the Partnership. "We are pleased to make these appointments and look forward to the contributions that these individuals will make to the Partnership in their new roles."
Roger D. Everett joined Plains as Director of Human Resources in August 2006. Prior to joining Plains, Mr. Everett was a principal of Stone Partners, a human resource management consulting firm, for 10 years and served as the Managing Director Human Resources from 2000 to 2006. Mr. Everett has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in human resource management since 1979 including Vice President of Human Resources at Living Centers of America and Beverly Enterprises, Director of Human Resources at Healthcare International and Director of Compensation and Benefits at Charter Medical.
Mark J. Gorman joined Plains in November 2006. Prior to joining Plains, Mr. Gorman was with Genesis Energy from 1996 to 2006. While at Genesis, he served in a number of differing capacities including as Director, President, CEO, COO and Executive Vice President. Mr. Gorman was President of Howell Crude Oil Company from 1992 to 1996. Mr. Gorman began his career with Marathon Oil Company, spending 13 years in various disciplines.
John R. Keffer joined Plains in October 1998. Prior to his appointment as vice president, he served as Managing Director Refinery Supply, Director of Trading and Manager of Sales and Trading. Before joining Plains, Mr. Keffer worked for two years at Prebon Energy, an energy brokerage firm. He worked with the Permian Corporation/Scurlock Permian from 1990 to 1995, serving in several capacities in the marketing department including as Director of Crude Oil Trading. Mr. Keffer began his career with Amoco Production Company where he spent over seven years serving in various capacities.
David E. Wright joined Plains in November 2006 in connection with its merger with Pacific Energy Partners, L.P. Mr. Wright served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development for Pacific Energy Partners since 2005 and as Vice President, Corporate Development and Marketing from 2001 to 2005. He also served as Vice President, Distribution West for Tosco Refining Company from 1997 to 2001, and as Vice President, Pipelines for GATX Terminals Corporation from 1995 to 1997. From 1983 to 1995, Mr. Wright served in a variety of management positions including Vice President, Western Region for GATX Terminals Corporation. Mr. Wright also worked with Conoco and Continental Pipeline Company, spending 10 years in various positions.
Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. is a publicly traded master limited partnership engaged in the transportation, storage, terminalling and marketing of crude oil, refined products and liquefied petroleum gas and other natural gas related petroleum products. Through its 50% ownership in PAA/Vulcan Gas Storage LLC, the partnership also develops and operates natural gas storage facilities. The Partnership is headquartered in Houston, Texas, and its common units are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "PAA."
